Lucas' Stitches

So this is actually the second time Lucas has had stitches.
He has 12 of them right under his chin. This time it was
only 4, but chicks still dig scars.

Cars Cake

So guess what happens when you buy a 3 year old a Cars cake with a real Lightning McQueen on top of an icing road?
The first shot I was really just trying to get a cool angle of the Happy Birthday Lucas on the cake. I saw through the viewfinder that Lucas was driving down the street. So I had to shift position to get the full effect of the road buckling under the speed of Lighting.... Ka-Chow.

Lucas is 3!!

Here is our big boy blowing our his candles. Ande felt that three candles wasn't enough so she loaded it up.

Carmen's Birthday #1

1st picture I will share from yesterday. Carmen is 1 and is climbing and sliding on her own as well as Lucas was at this time last year.

This is a pretty cool shot of Lucas looking out our mail slot. I 'm pretty sure he was waiting for Ande to get home from work.

Lucas turns 2!

This isn't the most technically perfect shot,
but sometimes you sacrifice technical perfection
for capturing the perfect moment in time.

This Photo is a perfect example of why I may be shifting my business a little from Weddings to child portraits. I just love the purity and the innocence of Lucas' expression here. Adults, even on their Wedding Days, don't usually have purity or innocence in their eyes.
